Co-Teaching With Success 

 Length: 3-6 Hours 

Through a variety of co-teaching models, general and special educators and instructional assistants will capitalize upon each other’s strengths to help all students achieve academic and social successes. Communication strategies offered to share in all classroom inclusion dynamics-from planning to instruction, accommodations, accountability, and assessments.

Learn how to: 

  • Develop and maintain effective co-teaching relationships.
  • Establish parity with roles and responsibilities.
  • Be prepared with strategies and subject knowledge.
  • Support each other and your students.

Audiences 

Co-teachers, paraprofessionals, related support staff; e.g., occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, child study team members, and all school staff.
